Just a guess that you cannot bind to the port because of either a stack
restriction or security restriction.

Google is your friend :)

See http://tinyurl.com/88g3oro or http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/java7sdk/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.java.messages%2Fdiag%2Fappendixes%2Fmessages%2Fshrc%2Fmessage_jvmshrc336.html

But it won't tell you too much, except you're supposed to call IBM.

Hi,

this happened to me, when z/OS was IPLed without bringing down JVMs gracefully or without stopping the shared cache.
The shared cache is then gone, but the files in /tmp/javasharedresources still exist and the JVM is trying to access them.
In most cases the problem goes away if the files for the JVM in question are deleted.
However be careful not to delete those files for other JVMs.
A possibility could be to empty the /tmp/javasharedresources directory upon z/OS IPL.

Hope that helps.
Denis.

This sort of problem is why I have /tmp in a TFS (aka "ram disk"). It is recreated at IPL time, and so there isn't anything left over.

Hi,

my guess is from the error messages, that the region size is too small.
Either from your TSO session or from the job that was submitted. Any IEFUSI restrictions in place?

Denis.
